With a Grade 2 certificate, you can legally operate pleasure vessels up to 15 metres in Hong Kong waters — whether driving your own boat, renting, or participating in water activities.

Both Part A and Part B have 40 multiple-choice questions each. You need to score 60% (24 correct) in each part independently.

Part A costs HK$550 and Part B costs HK$550, totalling HK$1,100. The certificate application fee is an additional HK$220, bringing the total to HK$1,320.
